The other day we were all in the living room watching TV together, or so I thought. When I got up to go to the kitchen I heard a tiny voice coming from the playroom. I went to see what was going on and here is what I found. In the (very messy) playroom Spencer was cleaning up of his own volition and singing his very own version of the clean-up song. note: He was mostly naked because I'd taken off his clothes before he ate spaghetti for dinner.
The Polish congratulatory song "Sto Lat" starts in almost the same way as "The Clean-up Song", so I can definitely see how this remix came to be. I still think he's a little smarty(under)pants.

I'd never noticed that before! Next time I join in on a rousing congratulatory song in Poland, I'm going to slip in a few "clean ups" just for fun!
that's pretty awesome.
I kept trying to figure out what he was singing and then realized it was, then read your final line... I could have saved my poor Polish speaking brain a little stress. So cute. I can definitely see how those songs would get confused together. Sometimes when I sing hymns in church the Polish lines will come to mind, especially during "Let Us All Press On" because I think the chorus is especially shrill sounding in Polish and it makes me laugh.
Aw! That's so cute!
That is so darling! I've often thought some things would be better if we could mix languages, getting the best of both worlds.
Clean Mup! I can't wait to see him! And you don't have to explain why he's not wearing much, it is a universal truth that your children will only do their cutest things, and you will only remember to video them, when they are only in a diaper.
What a little sweetheart. I love this age!
that's pretty awesome.
