grabbing tags, like this little one on his collar
and making sure his toes don't go anywhere while he naps.
But there are some things we discourage.
Another favorite from day one (or so) has been face scratching;
way too much face scratching.
So we're big on gloves.

He's also not allowed to attack our dinner.
Look at him eying that farmer's breakfast, which is why he had to be restrained

at night we don't want him doing any of the above so he gets bundled
and sleeps eight or nine hours straight.

Oh Lisa, that is one precious little boy. I think I'm smitten. So grateful I have a baby right now or these pictures would have me yearning for one. What a beautiful way to record some memories!
Baby fingers are one of my favorite things! He is a sweetheart, and I love him eying that breakfast...so adorable!
You have such a beautiful family!
That is so cute! I can't believe how much he has grown! =)
What a cute family!
At this moment, I'm wondering if I will ever sleep 8-9 hours in a row ever again. Spencer sure looks peaceful when he sleeps!
Oh, he is soooo cute! I love babies his age where they are still small and squishy but they are starting to get really interactive!
Aaaaaaaaaw, I love baby hands. Sometimes I try to look at my kids hands and think they're cute, but then I realize that they're all sticky and we haven't cut their nails in a week so they're like little alien claws. And sometimes they smash those sticky claw-like hands in my face and say, "It stinks, mommy!!" Which is mostly why I find baby hands to be much MUCH cuter.
So cute! I love the one of him bundled and sleeping. And the one with him holding his toes. So cute!
What an angel! I love this age. What a fun family picture. What a lucky Mom.
Yeah, I think Eden thinks her hands taste even better than mama's milk. Crazy girl. Spencer is so cute!
OK so...his cuteness has my insides screaming. In a good way :)
He is so seriously such a little angel! (holding onto the toes during sleep is uber important--that makes him smart, too!)
What a sweet little thing. I think I'd have to nibble on those hands too.
So cute! Love that last shot. Also, another solution to the gloves: trimming the nails! :)
This is almost enough to make me want another baby.
Almost. But not enough.
What a sweet little guy!
What a great post!
