Such Rebels

In doing research for articles I often look through online reviews for stores, products or services.

I just want to say that I really sort of love people who "defiantly recommend" things. And an alarming number of people do defiantly recommend things.

And I think they're darling.

You know, to have that kind of conviction about a product, regardless of what people will think of you is enviable. :)

The word nerd in me loves this. *snicker*

Well I would love to defiantly recommend your blog!

You think they're darling? This is one of my all time biggest annoyances (I don't say "pet peeve" because the words "pet peeve" are very peevish to me). Why can't people spell this word? It totally drives me nuts.

Well, if you're gonna recommend something, don't do it half-heartedly, right?

Honestly, though, I get super embarrassed when I make typos like that. It defiantly keeps me up at night.

I would D-E-F-I-N-I-T-E-L-Y recommend spell checking on a regular basis. You never know when you're going to stick your foot in it! But having said that, I can think of a few movies and books I've D-E-F-I-A-N-T-L-Y recommended. And fly swatters.

I would also recommend checking to see you're signed in with your very own name before you comment on someone's blog. Sorry -- talk about sticking your foot in it..... sheesh.

Yes, I like defiant recommendations too. It just tells me that the person is spirited and fiesty and against their better judgment, they've told the world that we need this product. ;)

I think that's quite nice... if only they were doing it deliberately! :)

Seriously. This is probably the one that makes the craziest of all because it's hard to see how someone can get that one wrong. I know I sound so judgey, but I promise there are lots of other ones that I overlook.

Um. I might have had to read that twice before I got it. Yup. That's the kind of amazing editor I am!

Also, I love that you used the word "darling."
